• We have reversed God's commands. They are not things to do, and then God will accept us. They are things that are a delight for us to do because God already loves and accepts us.

• How much do you tend to think of God's commands as things you need to do in order to achieve and/or maintain God's acceptance?
• Do you think Jesus has a smile on his face when he thinks about you?
• What have you been told the Word of God is?
• What do you think about the idea that the Word of God is Jesus?
• Do you tend to have an easier time trying to interact with Jesus than the Father?
• What does it change if we actually see the fullness of God the Father in Jesus? Does that make God more approachable? Easier to feel like we understand?

• Think: reflect on the things you love about Jesus
• Speak: Tell Jesus things about your inner life, the things on your heart and mind.
• Sit: Spend time in silence. Just be silent in his presence.
