- This is Hebrew poetry
 - Modern christianity doesn’t know what to do with the resurrection
 - When we divorce physical and spiritual life, we don’t have any use for resurrection
 - We call death “life”, pretend it’s not a bad thing
 - Contemporary Christian Music is sunshine and rainbows, the only theme is victory
 - Secularism is YOLO, there is no spiritual life, so nothing matters
 - Real life is EMBODIED
 - God loves “stuff” so much that he became stuff
 - God rested on Day 7 because he was done
 - Real life is embodied communion with God
 - Our dominion means that we are here to create order out of chaos, to steward and help everything here flourish, and in doing so, experience delight-filled communion with God

 - We’ve stripped God from the world
 
Implications
- Stuff matters. Bodies matter.
 - Love our neighbors. Glory in diversity. Fight for justice.
 - Your life is sacred, God is meeting you there
 - God meet us in the ordinary
 - Our world matters. We need to protect it.
 - The cosmos are groaning for resurrection
 - Spiritual life is really embodied
